With extensive knowledge of estate regeneration - delivering various residential projects including affordable homes, part ownership, extra care facilities and elderly housing.

The Role

As a highly experienced Contracts Manager, preferably from a Principal Contractor background - historically working for Tier 1 or Tier 2 main contractors. Overseeing a number of projects with values ranging from £5 - 10m with a total portfolio value of £20 - 25m per annum. You need to be able to achieve goals by creating and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, successfully managing a number of site teams and negotiating contracts. In this role, you will be responsible for contract close-out, extension and renewal, alongside using contract modeling software and the ability to meet project objectives within designated constraints.

Duties

* Draft, evaluate, negotiate and execute contracts
* Demonstrate negotiation and problem-solving skills
* Responsibility with quantifiable results in contract negotiation
* Provide both internal and external contract-related issue resolution
* Manage record keeping for all contract-related correspondence and documentation
* Communicate contractual changes to all stakeholders, administration and/or management
* Liaising with clients, local authorities, senior management and other third party stakeholders

* Monthly reporting to the Operations Manager and attending regular meetings with Regional Directors

* Establish and maintain supplier relationships by serving as a single point of contact for contractual matters
* Coordination and management of tenders, cost-planning and developing in preconstruction and construction phases

* Monitor and complete contract close-out, extension or renewal, as appropriate Communicate contract-related information to all stakeholders
